Strengthen European Militaries to the point Europe can defend itself against global superpowers.

Why? Because if you can’t protect yourself you’re always dependent on someone else which makes you essentially not free in making your decisions.

Some ideas what might be steps towards that:

Increased military budget of member states fit to demands

1y mandatory military service everywhere

Build up arsenal, esp. focusing conventional warfare tech (has been scaled down significantly over last decades)

Fund military research on new and important technologies and develop front-row european weapons (drones, everything infantry-strengthening, air defense, ...)

extensive Europe-wide trainings simulating foreign attacks, focusing on the cooperation between the nations militaries
