Relaxed labour laws for startups below 10 staff (Hire/Fire at will)

New arrangement for small startups to derisk costly hiring decisions during the early stages (e.g for 1 or 2 years) after company formation).

Employers could easily fire staff without facing the full weight of EU labour laws which would help them shed unsuitable staff easily as the company finds & develops product/market fit.

The EU could classify employees that join these early startups as a special class of EU employee that agree to waive some of their usual labour rights in exchange for a temporary lower payroll tax rate.
