Refocus the EU

Focus the EU entirely on open trade, free movements, defence and research collaboration.

Leave the rest up to each country to compete.

It makes zero sense that every park and library in the south of spain receives EU subsidies (even though i live here).

Use some of the budget cost savings to 10x help fund startups by matching private investments in technology that is critical to make the EU self reliant in terms of energy, defense, healthcare and digital infrastructure.

This will make the EU much more competitive in 5-10 years.
