So true! In Greece, Uber is banned. I was once talking with a taxi driver, whose union work towards banning those platforms, and he was telling me how hard is for his son who is in college to find a job in Greece and that he has to move abroad.
And I was like, I have been to the States, where students can make significant income by working as Uber drivers (much more than you make as a taxi driver in Greece). The issue isn’t the government it’s the people who don’t want to change and don’t care more than their personal benefit.
