Legalise the Right to Self-defense

Europeans need the legal right to defend themselves and their property from violence with all necessary means. In the USA the 2nd ammendment guarantees firearm ownership. Castle doctrine and stand your ground laws in some states ensure that there is a legally enforceable way to exercise your right to self defense.

In Europe most countries make it illegal to defend yourself and make citizens outsource the exercise of this basic right to police and other authorities, severely reducing effectiveness. This leaves most european citizens defenseless against criminals and authoritarian politicians.
