Fixes nothing and disincentivizes generational wealth. So the EU can waste the tax money on nonsense.

Removing generational wealth is exactly the point.
I do agree that the money will most likely just be wasted but it does solve a lot of the underfunded liabilities in the pension system (People are the richest when they start their retirement, old people have more wealth)
