Extend the student benefits to Indie Makers

  1. Scholarship for the period of 3-10 years

  2. Access to student accommodation at the same reduced price

  3. Discounts for transportation and everything else, same as students

  4. The Erasmus program should be extended to help indie makers, too

  5. Good indie makers (same as good students) should have their trips to conferences covered by the state/uni.

  6. One-year trip to any foreign startup place(SF, London..)

@johnrushx: I suggested this because the most successful founders I know (me included) did this precisely when we were studying.

I’d do the bare minimum in my uni to get all the student benefits and work on my startups.

This “hack” should become totally legal, and teenagers should have an equal choice: pursue a traditional education at university or learn by doing (indie making).

Being an Indie Maker for 3 years and achieving certain results (MRR, Users..) should grant a bachelor's degree.
