Expiry dates for all EU regulations, make it hard to renew them

Streamlining regulations by creating a data-driven system that forces existing regulations to justify their continued existence.

Instead of allowing a sprawling and unchecked proliferation of rules, this system would require each regulation to periodically defend its relevance and effectiveness based on measurable outcomes.

One mechanism is to implement automatic "sunsetting" clauses, where regulations expire after five years unless actively renewed.

This renewal process would be deliberately rigorous and grounded in data, ensuring only impactful regulations persist and others will perish.

By introducing checks like these, the system encourages a more dynamic and efficient regulatory environment, preventing unnecessary bureaucratic expansion and fostering smarter governance.
