EU Digital Passport

A digital passport, much like the Swedish BankID. Can for example be used to sign transactions and contracts, as well as login to services.

This works extremely well in Sweden.

Whoever handles physical passports (the police in Sweden) should handle the digital issuance, too.

    NO. This just opens the door to mass surveillance. Free movement of peoples in the EU should mean NO passport of any kind is required, let alone a digital one.
