London and the UK in general are still arguably the most entrepreneurial innovator places in Europe, it is also the country that still offers more or less competitive salaries compared to others. However, since Brexit, laws/rules have changed, the relationship between the two has taken distance which is hurting both sides.
For the UK, hiring from Europe now involves more paperwork, visa fees, and compliance costs, which discourages employers. Employers also need to sponsor visas, adding another layer of expense and complexity.
Even though Brexit was a democratic decision by the UK, they both need to find common ground to work out this better.
