Deregulate child car seats, stop population collapse

Due to stringent regulations, child car seats in Europe have to be very wide. As a consequence, fitting three of them side-by-side in the rear seat of any passenger car is virtually impossible.

Among all German car manufacturers, there is only one model capable of accommodating three child car seats in the back: the VW Touran.

This limitation places a considerable financial burden on families who consider to have a third child, as they are effectively forced to upgrade to a minivan - an investment with substantial step costs.

Over time, these extra expenses contribute to fewer births, which in turn leads to a shrinking population.
